Hello Future CISSPs!

How’s the studying going?

Please choose the BEST answer:

A. Going well, I think I’m almost ready to take the exam
B. There are still some topics I really need to focus on
C. I haven’t studied in awhile, been meaning to get back to it
D. I stopped studying because I’m really busy with other things

A. Going well, I think I’m almost ready to take the exam

You’re almost there! As you trudge through to the final weeks before the exam, I’d like to share with you what I did:
Review CISSP Study Guide by Eric Conrad
Took these practice questions: http://www.mhprofessional.com/sites/CISSPExams/exam.php?id=AccessControl
They are an INCREDIBLE recap of what you need to know, really really helped before taking the exam
Read the Sunflower CISSP mindmap, if you want a copy email me

B. There are still some topics I really need to focus on

At this point you’ve already gotten a good idea and “feel” for the topics. Maybe you need to nail down some of the software development methods, or maybe study properties of the OSI model a bit more…whatever it is, a few more hours of studying should fix it right up and get you ready for answer “A” above.

The OSI Model and Corresponding Data Units

C. I haven’t studied in awhile, been meaning to get back to it

Look I know we all have busy lives, especially if we’re in the IT sector. We are bombarded with emails, texts, status updates, tweets, vulnerability news articles etc. etc. On top of that, we have our families and social lives…and even the nightly news can affect our drive to study for the CISSP. And let’s face it, learning about discretionary access control isn’t the most exciting thing in the world.

I like to look at it this way: I’ve already put in so much time and effort into studying, at this point, I have to complete it otherwise it’ll bother me forever at what “could” have been.

D. I stopped studying because I’m really busy with other things

You know your life best, if you’re busy, then you’re busy. Your life comes first, the CISSP exam isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’ll still be here.

The fact that you’re still subscribed to this newsletter shows you want to go through with it.

I wish everyone the best! Email me with ANYTHING CISSP guys!

Thank you.
